About Heather

In today’s ever-evolving world of nutrition, I enjoy helping clients navigate the myths and fads surrounding a healthy lifestyle. As a Registered Dietitian, Certified Nutritionist, and Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist, my passion lies in empowering individuals to feel better and lead healthier lives. I focus on helping patients implement realistic diet and lifestyle habits that yield sustainable results. Every session is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client—because there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to health.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting patients in improving their health while navigating various challenges, including diabetes, PCOS, weight management, pre- and post-operative bariatric surgery, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and overall wellness concerns.
My experience includes working at respected medical facilities such as Mount Sinai Hospital, NYU Langone Hospital, Saint Francis Hospital, and Northwell Hospital. I had the opportunity to lead a specialized outpatient program at Mount Sinai focusing on high-risk patients dealing with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity. Additionally, I developed a comprehensive Diabetes Educational program for 16 offices within The Queens Long Island Medical Group/Advantage Care Physicians.

I am also a contributor to several health and fitness articles in Wellness magazine. As an active member of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics—belonging to practice groups such as Weight Management & Bariatric, Diabetes Care & Education, Integrative Nutrition, and Dietetic Entrepreneur—I stay connected with the latest advancements in my field. I am also a member of The American Association of Diabetes Education.
In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, and creating delicious recipes with my two children.
